We’ve settled into our new office space, but as soon as we set up all our desks, the air conditioner broke. Probably not a problem for our friends in the northern hemisphere, but a few days ago it got up to 43.5 °C (110.3 °F), and our office is a giant oven.
The air conditioner in the main office area is out of action, and getting it repaired in the weeks around Christmas and New Year has proven to be difficult. Summer in Queensland is a terrible time for an air conditioner to break, so we’ve all set up camp in the board room where, thankfully, the air conditioner is still functioning.
